• Methylglyoxal (MGO) – the antibacterial element.
• Dihydroxyacetone – also known as DHA, the age of the honey.
• Leptosperin – this is the indicator of genuine Manuka which can only be found in honey from manuka pollen and cannot be fabricated.

Pure As Manuka Honey UMF® 20+ contains pure honey gathered from the nectar of the Manuka bush in New Zealand. It is unheated and unpasteurised through the whole processes to ensure retaining its unique nutritional properties in our honey and presenting it to you as pure as nature gives us. Our Manuka Honey UMF® 20+ product is independently tested and certified to contain a minimum of 829 mg/kg of Methylglyoxal (MGO), which is one of the key compounds found in Manuka honey.
